Board of Directors:


Lindsay Banks is the founder and President of Joete’s Playground.  She established the nonprofit organization after she arrived home in 2007 from volunteering during the summer in Kathmandu, Nepal.  She has worked as a elementary  teacher for the past 7 years. She graduated with her bachelor's in Early Childhood and Elementary Education at Westminster College. She has a strong passion for humanitarian work and has traveled to various areas in the world to provide service and humanitarian efforts.




Laurie Broadbent Laurie Broadbent resides in Midway, Utah with her husband and 2 daughters. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing from Utah State University. Laurie has several years of experience working in operations management for both small and corporate businesses. Working with Joete’s Playground is a dream job. Laurie is passionate about providing service and humanitarian aid, especially to children in need.




Amberly Robinson resides in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband and 4 kids. She received her bachelors from SUU in Southern Utah and later received her graduate degree in social work from Columbia University. Amberly has shared the vision of Joete’s Playground since it was created.




Benton Sturt lives in Seattle, Washington with his wife, where he works for an investment bank advising companies on mergers, acquisitions and capital raises.  He received a bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Utah.  Benton is passionate about helping children across the world have fun and loves working with Joete's Playground to help make that happen.
