Summer 2009

Thottanaval Village School, India
Joete's Playground joined with Rising Star Outreach, an organization that helps children in India who are living with leprosy, to build a playground for a small school that didn't have any playground equipment. We were thrilled to get involved and provide a place for the kids to play.

May 2011

Kenya
Joete's Playground teamed up with the Global Outreach Alliance, an organization that empowers communities by promoting self-reliance through education, mentoring and sustainable development solutions. Together we found a local welder and painter to build our playground. We were excited to be able to provide the playground for these much deserved kids!

Summer 2008
Siphal P.A. Home, Kathmandu, Nepal
Our first playground! After spending a summer in Kathmandu and spending time at the Siphal Home falling in love with the kids, we knew we had to do something to help. Lindsay returned home from a life changing adventure to start Joete's Playground. Started fundraising and was able to return the following summer to check out their new playground. So thrilled Joete's Playground made our debut with the Siphal Home. Very deserving kids that now had a place to play. We also did repairs to the home's roof, bought a new steel gate, planted grass, and furnished 50 new beds for the Siphal Home.

Spring 2010

Apkomang School, Ghana, Africa
Joete's Playground built a playground for the Apkomang School in Ghana in the summer of 2010.   We hired a local welder for the construction of  this playground in Ghana. We were thrilled to be able to provide a playground for these kids, who have had some sports equipment , but were only allowed to use it on Fridays.  The the school did not have the funds to replace the balls, jump ropes, and basketball hoop if they get worn out. We were glad we could provide a playground for the kids to have something to play on everyday and not have to worry about wearing it out.
